First look at Del Toro's SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK

Some good news to quell those hungover Christmas heads this morning, the Guillermo Del Toro produced Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark is nearly here and we now have our first look! ...Kind of.

Based on Alvin Schwartz's superbly creepy trilogy of books, the Andre Ovredal-helmed film tells the story of a group of teens banding together to solve a series of spectacularly gruesome deaths. Below, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, is the first picture from the set. Granted, we can't see much, but it's enough to know that the film is locked and coming to theatres soon.
