Fassbender, Schwarzenegger join feature length Kung Fury

Last week it was announced X-Men star Michael Fassbender would join David Sandberg's feature length action comedy, Kung Fury. Now, news out of the European Film Market in Berlin suggests that the Terminator himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger, is joining the film.

Kung Fury tells the tale of the greatest cop of all time, Kung Fury who keeps Miami safe with his group of kick-ass Thundercops (who, if I'm not mistaken includes a dinosaur). The heroes must unite to then save the world from the evil Kung Fuhrer himself, Adolf Hitler. No news on who Schwarzenegger will be playing, but having him involved certainly perks up interest. Don't get me wrong, I'll certainly check this out when it arrives, especially being a fan of Sandberg's shorts and Annabelle: Creation. But the original short was a mess; a mish-mash of 'cool' moments and random characters. Hopefully the creative team tighten it up for the big screen.

Stay tuned for more news on Kung Fury.
