Get your first look at Will Ferrell & John C. Reilly in Holmes & Watson!
I'm not a huge Will Ferrell fan. The Zoolander films are woeful and the Anchorman series is something I'll never understand. Having said that, his natural chemistry with co-star John C. Reilly in Step Brothers catapulted that movie into the rare endlessly-watchable category most films only dream of. Achingly funny at times, the film cemented the two as an all-time comedic duo up there with Gene Wilder and Mel Brooks.
And now set photos have found their way online giving us our first look at the duo as Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. Not much is known about the plot other than it's a comedic take on Arthur Conan Doyle's detective series and it'll be directed by Etan Cohen (who previously helmed Get Hard). Check it out below!
Not a whole lot to unpack here (but hey, it's a slow news weekend), but the duo certainly look the part and it has me excited for the film. What say you, rebels?
