Genius Marketing Award goes to: The Purge 4 poster!
Tonight, the President of the United States of America will address the country in a State of the Union speech. And so the devilish marketing minds at Blumhouse released the first poster for the next installment in the Purge franchise. Check it out below.
Genius, right? Combining Trump's signature Make America Great Again cap with a little plot tease for the next purging, Blumhouse has us officially ready for July 4th (and releasing on Independence Day, nice). Details are sparse on this one, we only know that it's a prequel detailing the events of the very first purging and series regular and creator James DeMonaco won't return to direct, he's just sticking to the script this time. Instead, Fruitvale Station producer Gerard McMurray will helm the fourth outing, titled The Purge: The Island.
The Purge: The Island hits Irish and UK cinemas July 6th.
